《印度科學(xué)院院刊:地球與行星科學(xué)》創(chuàng)刊于1934年，是由印度科學(xué)院出版的英文季刊。該雜志的主要目的是揭示在定義地球系統(tǒng)重要元素的結(jié)構(gòu)、進(jìn)化過程和敏感性方面取得的新成果、新觀點(diǎn)或概念進(jìn)展。特別受歡迎的是那些論述地球、海洋和大氣層的重要特征的論文，這些特征是地球、海洋和大氣層這一地區(qū)所特有的，但對(duì)我們了解行星系統(tǒng)具有更廣泛的意義。還歡迎關(guān)于專門為提高科學(xué)推理的確定性而開發(fā)的精辟方法和方法的論文。也歡迎就重要的新發(fā)現(xiàn)或潛在的令人興奮的想法進(jìn)行簡(jiǎn)短的交流。

Begun in 1934, The Proceedings of the Indian Academy of Sciences : Earth and Planetary Sciences is a quarterly journal in English published by the Indian Academy of Sciences. The journal basically aims to expose new results or ideas or conceptual advances made towards defining the structure, evolutionary processes and sensitivities of significant earth system elements. Particularly welcome are papers that address important features of the solid earth, ocean and atmosphere unique to this part of the world, yet of wider implications to our understanding of planetary systems. Also welcome are papers on incisive approaches and methodologies especially developed to enhance definitiveness of scientific inference. Short communications relating to significant new findings or potentially stimulating ideas are also invited.
