與歐洲地球科學家和工程師協(xié)會和國際沉積學家協(xié)會聯(lián)合出版?！杜璧匮芯俊番F(xiàn)已出版10年，是一份重要的國際地球科學期刊。該期刊由科學信息研究所(Institute for Scientific Information)覆蓋，目前ISI的影響因子為1.422，在所有地質(zhì)學期刊中排名第七。《盆地研究》發(fā)表關于沉積盆地的原始研究論文。該雜志的目的是提供一個新的論壇，討論從盆地的源頭到盆地的沉積中心，在各種各樣的構(gòu)造和氣候環(huán)境中相互作用的因素。在盆地研究中發(fā)表的文章的基本特征是它們對不止一個學科的地球科學家感興趣。

Published in conjunction with the European Association of Geoscientists and Engineers and the International Association of Sedimentologists. Basin Research has now completed its tenth year of publication, and is well established as a major international journal in the earth sciences. It is covered by the Institute for Scientific Information, and now has an ISI Impact Factor of 1.422, ranking it seventh among all journals in geology.Basin Research publishes original research papers on sedimentary basins. The journal aims to offer a new forum for discussion of the interacting elements of basins ranging from their headwaters to their depocentres, in a diverse array of tectonic and climatic settings. The essential feature of articles published in Basin Research is that they are of interest to earth scientists of more than one discipline.
