實(shí)證經(jīng)濟(jì)學(xué)發(fā)表高質(zhì)量的論文，使用計(jì)量經(jīng)濟(jì)學(xué)或統(tǒng)計(jì)方法來填補(bǔ)經(jīng)濟(jì)學(xué)理論和觀測數(shù)據(jù)之間的空白。論文探討了經(jīng)濟(jì)變量之間既定關(guān)系的估計(jì)、經(jīng)濟(jì)理論假設(shè)的檢驗(yàn)、治療效果估計(jì)、政策評估、模擬、預(yù)測以及計(jì)量經(jīng)濟(jì)學(xué)方法和測量。實(shí)證經(jīng)濟(jì)學(xué)強(qiáng)調(diào)實(shí)證結(jié)果的可復(fù)制性。對文獻(xiàn)中重要結(jié)果(包括正面和負(fù)面結(jié)果)的重復(fù)研究可以作為實(shí)證經(jīng)濟(jì)學(xué)的短篇論文發(fā)表。所有被接受的論文和復(fù)制的作者必須在發(fā)表前提交所有的數(shù)據(jù)和代碼(更多細(xì)節(jié)，請參見:作者說明)。該雜志遵循一個(gè)單一的盲審程序。為了確保期刊的高質(zhì)量和有效的編輯過程，有相當(dāng)數(shù)量的投稿，如果獲得正面評價(jià)的機(jī)會很低，通常會被拒絕，而不把論文送去審查。

Empirical Economics publishes high quality papers using econometric or statistical methods to fill the gap between economic theory and observed data. Papers explore such topics as estimation of established relationships between economic variables, testing of hypotheses derived from economic theory, treatment effect estimation, policy evaluation, simulation, forecasting, as well as econometric methods and measurement.Empirical Economics emphasizes the replicability of empirical results. Replication studies of important results in the literature - both positive and negative results - may be published as short papers in Empirical Economics. Authors of all accepted papers and replications are required to submit all data and codes prior to publication (for more details, see: Instructions for Authors).The journal follows a single blind review procedure. In order to ensure the high quality of the journal and an efficient editorial process, a substantial number of submissions that have very poor chances of receiving positive reviews are routinely rejected without sending the papers for review.
