ACM存儲事務(TOS)是出版存儲研究和實踐進展的主要期刊。存儲領域是數(shù)據(jù)可用性的基石之一。存儲是一個廣泛的多學科領域,包括網(wǎng)絡協(xié)議、資源管理、數(shù)據(jù)備份、復制、恢復、設備、安全性、數(shù)據(jù)編碼理論、密度和能效。由于企業(yè)環(huán)境和數(shù)據(jù)中心的軟硬件異構(gòu)性,設計和開發(fā)存儲系統(tǒng)仍然是一個挑戰(zhàn)。ACMTOS作為一本專注于存儲的同行評審的綜合性期刊,試圖填補這一空白。ACM TOS的范圍包括但不限于以下方面:存儲系統(tǒng)體系結(jié)構(gòu)、設計和驗證:并行、分布式、對等和網(wǎng)格存儲系統(tǒng)、存儲區(qū)域網(wǎng)絡(SAN)、網(wǎng)絡附加存儲(NAS)、性能評估和監(jiān)控、預測和自適應技術(shù)、多媒體計算應用支持、大容量存儲系統(tǒng)、正式和經(jīng)驗驗證方法。存儲網(wǎng)絡:用于網(wǎng)絡存儲系統(tǒng)、存儲交換機和結(jié)構(gòu)設計的協(xié)議。存儲資源管理:虛擬化、管理、發(fā)現(xiàn)、存儲資源調(diào)配、安全性、可靠性、可擴展性、基于策略的管理、基于對象的存儲設備,以及對系統(tǒng)、設備和軟件異構(gòu)性的互操作性支持。復制、備份和恢復:連續(xù)備份方法、實時和基于策略的恢復、卷、文件和應用程序級恢復、災難容限。操作系統(tǒng)和應用程序支持:緩存、文件系統(tǒng)、互操作性和應用程序編程接口的設計。信息生命周期管理(ILM):基于可配置的策略和法規(guī)遵從性、數(shù)據(jù)存儲、安全和存儲中間件(包括數(shù)據(jù)管理系統(tǒng))的流程和工作流來管理數(shù)據(jù)存儲介質(zhì)和設備:光學、磁性、聲學、基于MEMS的存儲設備、MRAM、生物/納米存儲設備、設備抽象和I/O協(xié)議。理論:高數(shù)據(jù)率、密度和低功耗的編碼算法和信號處理技術(shù)。貢獻可以擴展在會議和講習班上發(fā)表的原著,也可以基于全新的未發(fā)表的作品。歡迎提供和詳細處理新興和既定主題的教程和調(diào)查文章。

ACM Transactions on Storage (TOS) is the premier journal for publishing advancements in storage research and practice. The field of storage is one of the cornerstones for data availability. Storage is a broad and multidisciplinary area that comprises of network protocols, resource management, data backup, replication, recovery, devices, security, theory of data coding, densities, and energy-efficiency. Designing and developing storage systems continues to be a challenge due to both software and hardware heterogeneity in enterprise environments and data centers. ACM TOS seeks to fill an important void as a peer-reviewed comprehensive journal focused on storage.The scope of ACM TOS includes, but is not limited to, the following areas:Storage Systems Architecture, Design, and Validation: parallel, distributed, peer-to-peer, and GRID storage systems, Storage Area Networks (SAN), Network-Attached Storage (NAS), performance evaluation and monitoring, predictive and adaptive techniques, support for multimedia computing applications, mass storage systems, formal and empirical validation methods.Storage Networking: Protocols for networked storage systems, storage switch and fabric design.Storage Resource Management: virtualization, management, discovery, provisioning of storage resources, security, reliability, scalability, policy-based management, object-based storage devices, and interoperability support for heterogeneity in systems, devices, and software.Replication, Backup, and Recovery: continuous backup methods, real-time and policy-based recovery, volume, file, and application-level recovery, disaster tolerance.Operating System and Application Support: Caching, file systems, interoperability, and design of application programming interfaces.Information Lifecycle Management (ILM): management of data based on configurable policies and regulatory compliance, processes, and workflow for data storage, security, and storage middleware including data management systemsStorage Media and Devices: optical, magnetic, acoustic, MEMS-based storage devices, MRAM, Bio/Nano-storage devices, device abstractions, and I/O protocols.Theory: Algorithms for coding, and signal-processing techniques for high data rates, densities, and low power.Contributions may extend original work published in conferences and workshops, or may be based on entirely new unpublished work. Tutorial and survey articles that provide and detailed treatment of emerging and established topics are welcome.
