《應用數(shù)學與物理雜志》(ZAMP)發(fā)表高科學質量的流體力學、固體力學和微分方程/應用數(shù)學論文。如符合下列其中一項條件，有關論文將獲考慮發(fā)表:本文包含的結果或討論可以被認為是原創(chuàng)的和非常有趣的。本文提出了一種新的方法。作者以如此深刻的見解來回顧一個問題或一類問題，從而鼓勵進一步的研究。ZAMP的讀者不僅能在自己的專業(yè)領域找到文章，還能在鄰近領域找到原創(chuàng)作品。這將導致思想的交流;已經證明在一個領域成功的概念和方法可能對其他領域也很有用。ZAMP試圖以相當快的速度發(fā)布文章。較長的論文發(fā)表在“原始論文”一欄，較短的論文可能出現(xiàn)在“簡要報告”一欄，因為“簡要報告”的發(fā)表速度特別快。該雜志包括一個“書評”部分，提供讀者感興趣的活動信息(如即將舉行的研討會、會議或特殊課程)。

The Journal of Applied Mathematics and Physics (ZAMP) publishes papers of high scientific quality in Fluid Mechanics, Mechanics of Solids and Differential Equations/Applied Mathematics. A paper will be considered for publication if at least one of the following conditions is fulfilled:The paper includes results or discussions which can be considered original and highly interesting.The paper presents a new method.The author reviews a problem or a class of problems with such profound insight that further research is encouraged.The readers of ZAMP will find not only articles in their own special field but also original work in neighbouring domains. This will lead to an exchange of ideas; concepts and methods which have proven to be successful in one field may well be useful to other areas. ZAMP attempts to publish articles reasonably quickly. Longer papers are published in the section "Original Papers", shorter ones may appear under "Brief Reports" where publication is particularly rapid. The journal includes a "Book Review" section and provides information on activities (such as upcoming symposia, meetings or special courses) which are of interest to its readers.
