對神經(jīng)和精神疾病發(fā)病機(jī)制的基本機(jī)制的研究無疑加深了我們對這類疾病的認(rèn)識。由于更具體的精神活性化合物和新技術(shù)的出現(xiàn)等重要發(fā)展，基礎(chǔ)神經(jīng)科學(xué)對理解大腦病理生理學(xué)的影響將進(jìn)一步增加。《神經(jīng)傳遞雜志》旨在建立基礎(chǔ)科學(xué)與臨床神經(jīng)病學(xué)和精神病學(xué)之間的接口。該雜志每月分五個部分出版:基礎(chǔ)神經(jīng)科學(xué)和遺傳學(xué)。本部分將接受涉及藥理分子藥理神經(jīng)化學(xué)以及與神經(jīng)系統(tǒng)相關(guān)的分子生物學(xué)和分子遺傳學(xué)研究的手稿。特別是本部分將發(fā)表基礎(chǔ)神經(jīng)科學(xué)的工作，即包括行為短期和長期評估的動物實(shí)驗(yàn)研究。帕金森病及相關(guān)疾病阿爾茨海默病及相關(guān)疾病神經(jīng)科學(xué)研究，包括與運(yùn)動障礙相關(guān)的基礎(chǔ)和臨床研究，如帕金森癥、肌陣攣性肌張力障礙等，將在本節(jié)中發(fā)表。

The investigation of basic mechanisms involved in the pathogenesis of neurological and psychiatric disorders has undoubtedly deepened our knowledge of these types of disorders. The impact of basic neurosciences on the understanding of the pathophysiology of the brain will further increase due to important developments such as the emergence of more specific psychoactive compounds and new technologies. The Journal of Neural Transmission aims to establish an interface between basic sciences and clinical neurology and psychiatry. The journal is published monthly in five sections: Basic Neurosciences and Genetics This section will accept manuscripts dealing with pharmacological molecular pharmacological neurochemical as well as molecular biological and molecular genetical studies related to the nervous system. In particular this section will publish work from the basic neurosciences i.e. experimental work animal studies including behavioral short and long term evaluations. Parkinson's Disease and Allied Conditions Alzheimer's Disease and Related Disorders Neuroscientific studies both basic and clinical in nature related to movement disorders such as parkinsonism dystonia chorea myoclonus etc. will be considered for publication in this section.
