《牙科科學(xué)雜志》(JDS)為中華民國(guó)牙科科學(xué)學(xué)會(huì)(ADS-ROC)的官方刊物，每季出版一期。JDS的前身是中國(guó)牙科雜志(CDJ)，早在1988年就被MEDLINE收錄。當(dāng)CDJ繼續(xù)證明其在該地區(qū)的重要性時(shí)，ADS-ROC決定出版一本英文期刊，以走向國(guó)際社會(huì)。因此，JDS于2006年誕生。JDS被收錄在2008年以后擴(kuò)大的SCI中。它還在Scopus、EMCare、ScienceDirect和SIIC數(shù)據(jù)庫(kù)中建立了索引。JDS涵蓋的主題包括基礎(chǔ)和臨床牙科的所有領(lǐng)域。也考慮出版一些研究某些地方病的手稿，例如在任何國(guó)家特定地區(qū)的齲齒和牙周病，以及與嚼檳榔習(xí)慣有關(guān)的口腔癌前期、口腔癌和口腔粘膜下纖維化。此外，JDS還發(fā)表了關(guān)于一種新的治療方式對(duì)口腔疣狀增生或早期口腔鱗狀細(xì)胞癌的療效的文章。此外，我們還發(fā)表了評(píng)價(jià)新生物材料、新藥物和新方法在治療各種口腔頜面部疾病或缺損患者中的應(yīng)用、新方法診斷口腔頜面部疾病等方面的科研成果。此外,研究生活質(zhì)量、心理干預(yù),提高疾病的治療結(jié)果,預(yù)防,診斷和管理的癌癥治療并發(fā)癥,康復(fù),緩和和結(jié)束的生活護(hù)理,癌癥護(hù)理和口腔衛(wèi)生保健和支持團(tuán)隊(duì)合作也歡迎老患者,由于年長(zhǎng)患者顯著增加60歲以上在亞洲的東北部地區(qū)。簡(jiǎn)而言之，JDS出版的科學(xué)牙科文章，為所有讀者帶來(lái)新的知識(shí)，新的觀察，新的技術(shù)，新的診斷和治療模式，以及新的臨床試驗(yàn)。JDS的目標(biāo)受眾包括研究人員、牙科從業(yè)者或臨床醫(yī)生、口腔和牙科政策制定者、牙科教育工作者、硬組織科學(xué)家、牙科學(xué)生和其他健康專(zhuān)業(yè)人士。JDS接受觀點(diǎn)、評(píng)論文章、原創(chuàng)文章、案例報(bào)告、簡(jiǎn)短的交流、研究信函、通信和給編輯的信函。

The Journal of Dental Sciences (JDS), published quarterly, is the official and open access publication of the Association for Dental Sciences of the Republic of China (ADS-ROC). The precedent journal of the JDS is the Chinese Dental Journal (CDJ) which had already been covered by MEDLINE in 1988. As the CDJ continued to prove its importance in the region, the ADS-ROC decided to move to the international community by publishing an English journal. Hence, the birth of the JDS in 2006. The JDS is indexed in the SCI Expanded since 2008. It is also indexed in Scopus, and EMCare, ScienceDirect, SIIC Data Bases.The topics covered by the JDS include all fields of basic and clinical dentistry. Some manuscripts focusing on the study of certain endemic diseases such as dental caries and periodontal diseases in particular regions of any country as well as oral pre-cancers, oral cancers, and oral submucous fibrosis related to betel nut chewing habit are also considered for publication. Besides, the JDS also publishes articles about the efficacy of a new treatment modality on oral verrucous hyperplasia or early oral squamous cell carcinoma.In addition, we also publish the scientific researches evaluating the use of new biomaterials, new drugs and new methods for treatment of patients with different kinds of oral and maxillofacial diseases or defects, the diagnosis of oral and maxillofacial diseases with new methods, etc. Moreover, researches on the quality of life, psychological interventions, improving disease treatment outcomes, the prevention, diagnosis and management of cancer therapeutic complications, rehabilitation, palliative and end of life care, and support teamwork for cancer care and oral health care for old patients are also welcome, due to remarkable increase of elder patients above 60 years old in the north-east region of Asia. In short, the JDS publishes the scientific dental articles that bring new knowledge, new observations, new techniques, new diagnosis and treatment modalities, and new clinical trials to all the readers of this journal.The target audience of the JDS includes researchers, dental practitioners or clinicians, oral and dental policy-makers, dental educators, hard-tissue scientists, dental students, and other health professionals. The JDS accepts Perspectives, Review articles, Original articles, Case reports, Short communications, Research letters, Correspondence and Letters to the Editor.
