該國際期刊在昆蟲生物化學(xué)和昆蟲分子生物學(xué)領(lǐng)域發(fā)表了原創(chuàng)文章和小評論。主要研究領(lǐng)域包括神經(jīng)化學(xué)、激素和信息素生物化學(xué)、酶和代謝、激素作用和基因調(diào)控、基因特性和結(jié)構(gòu)、藥理學(xué)、免疫學(xué)以及細(xì)胞和組織培養(yǎng)。若讀者對其他節(jié)肢動物的生物化學(xué)和分子生物學(xué)有一般興趣，可發(fā)表有關(guān)這些動物的論文。如果技術(shù)論文在編輯和編輯委員會的意見中對昆蟲生物化學(xué)和分子生物學(xué)領(lǐng)域有重大進(jìn)展，將考慮發(fā)表。

英文簡介

This international journal publishes original contributions and mini-reviews in the fields of insect biochemistry and insect molecular biology. Main areas of interest are neurochemistry, hormone and pheromone biochemistry, enzymes and metabolism, hormone action and gene regulation, gene characterization and structure, pharmacology, immunology and cell and tissue culture. Papers on the biochemistry and molecular biology of other groups of arthropods are published if of general interest to the readership. Technique papers will be considered for publication if they significantly advance the field of insect biochemistry and molecular biology in the opinion of the Editors and Editorial Board.
