非洲動物學，一個同行評審的研究期刊，出版原始的科學貢獻和評論，主要集中在非洲動物在陸地，淡水和海洋生態(tài)系統(tǒng)。來自其他地區(qū)的研究，推進實踐和理論方面的動物學將被考慮。嚴格的問題驅動的研究在所有方面的動物學將優(yōu)先于描述性研究。該雜志出版長篇論文、評論、簡短的通訊、給編輯的信件以及書評?；诩兇庥^察、描述性或軼事數(shù)據(jù)的貢獻將不予考慮。該雜志由NISC與南非動物學會(ZSSA)聯(lián)合出版。接受論文是總編與編輯和編輯咨詢委員會成員協(xié)商后的責任。所表達的意見均為作者的意見，不一定是編輯或新聞部的意見。

英文簡介

African Zoology , a peer-reviewed research journal, publishes original scientific contributions and critical reviews that focus principally on African fauna in terrestrial, freshwater, and marine ecosystems. Research from other regions that advances practical and theoretical aspects of zoology will be considered. Rigorous question-driven research in all aspects of zoology will take precedence over descriptive research. The Journal publishes full-length papers, critical reviews, short communications, letters to the editors as well as book reviews. Contributions based on purely observational, descriptive or anecdotal data will not be considered. The Journal is produced by NISC in association with the Zoological Society of South Africa (ZSSA). Acceptance of papers is the responsibility of the Editors-in-Chief in consultation with the Editors and members of the Editorial Advisory Board. All views expressed are those of the author and not necessarily those of the Editors or the Department.
