生物防治科學(xué)與技術(shù)是近年來在生物病蟲害、雜草防治等領(lǐng)域的最新研究成果。該期刊涵蓋以下領(lǐng)域:天敵防治動物害蟲植物病害的生物防治生物防除雜草“古典”生物防除增加天敵的釋放有益微生物的質(zhì)量控制微生物農(nóng)藥生物防制劑的性質(zhì)、作用方式和應(yīng)用方法生物調(diào)節(jié)劑的生理、行為及其與宿主的相互作用害蟲和天敵動態(tài)，模擬建模天敵的遺傳改良，包括遺傳操縱天敵的生產(chǎn)、配制、分配和釋放方法環(huán)境影響研究釋放經(jīng)過選擇和/或基因處理的生物體安全測試生物防治方法在綜合作物保護(hù)中的作用保護(hù)和增加天敵的數(shù)量殺蟲劑對生物控制有機(jī)體的影響生物控制立法和政策，注冊和商業(yè)化。本雜志所有發(fā)表的研究論文都經(jīng)過嚴(yán)格的同行評審，評審基于最初的編輯篩選和至少兩名匿名專家評審。
